Wisner-Garrison Marriage Mr. Jesse Wisner and Miss Ethel Garrison were united in marriage Jan. 1 at the LaMore hotel by Rev. A. H. Dent. The groom is a very bright and promising young man. He is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Adam Wisner. The bride is one of Bear Creek’s most accomplished young ladies. She is the daughter of Mr. Wm. Garrison. Her mother being dead she had been making her home with the groom’s parents up to about the last of September, when Mrs. Wisner died. Since then Ethel has been working at different places in the Bear Creek vicinity. The new couple will make their home on the old place where the groom was raised. The wedding was a quiet one there being but six present, Adam Wisner, Man Hooper, Mr. Moore and daughter, and Mr. And Mrs. Virgil Higgins. The happy couple received several presents and the good wishes of every one that know them as they are liked by all. A GUEST St. Clair County Democrat, 28 Jan 1915 Will of Leslie Rodgers The will of the late Leslie Rodgers, bearing date of May 18, 1914, has been filed for probate. To his daughter, Miss Mary, he leaves his life insurance of $2000, all personal property of whatsoever nature, all his real property in Osceola and "Good Hope" fruit farm south of town. To his son, Harry he leaves the "Rock of Ages" farm, and all other property is divided equally between the two.
