ADONIS / OAK GROVE: From Polk, go north on D Highway 3.5 miles to
E 328th Rd, turn left on E 328th Rd and go 1.1 miles then turn right
on S 167th Rd and go .7 miles. Turn left on E 320th Rd and go .4
miles, then turn left on S 163rd Rd for .4 miles, it becomes E 325th
Rd at that point and go another 1.8 miles. Turn right on S 145th Rd

AKARD: From 32 Highway at Fair Play, go south on Akard Cemetery Road
for .5 miles. Cemetery will be off to the left. Map

AKARD GRAVE: 1 1/4 miles Southeast of Fair Play on the west side of
Highway 123 in the yard of an abandoned house.
ANKROM: From Half Way, go south on H Highway 6.5 miles. Go left on E
500th Road for 1 mile, then right on S 220th Road to the cemetery.

ANDERSON / McDANIEL: 3 1/2 miles southwest of Aldrich, south of
Highway T and 1/2 mile east of the Dade County line. See McDaniel.
APPLEBY: 1 mile southeast of Morrisville.
ASHLOCK: On BB Highway, between Highway 13 and Fair Play.
ATWOOD: 2 1/2 miles north and 1/4 mile east of Brighton.
BAILEY: Jefferson Township.
BARREN CREEK: Fair Play east on hwy. 32, turn left (North) on 65th Rd.
cemetery can be seen from hwy. 32. Map
BECKLEY: 2 miles northwest of Pleasant Hope, off Highway KK on 530th Road.
BEWLEY-FINCH: Northeast Marion Township.
BOLIVAR CITY CEMETERY: Located in Marion Twp, on North Pike Avenue
(Northwest part of Bolivar, MO). The South entrance is near the corner
of N. Pike Avenue and W. Ivory Street. The North entrance is near the
corner of N. Pike Avenue and West Division Street (the next street
West of N. Main Avenue, Highway 83). Map
BOOHER: Northeast of Morrisville.
BOONE: 1 mile west of Half Way, south side of 32 Highway.
BOTTS-HIGGINBOTHAM: 4 1/2 miles east of Bolivar.
BRESHEARS: from Mo-32 in Half Way go north on P for almost 10 miles. Turn Right on S. 230th (a
gravel road), turn left on E. 368 go .8 of a mile. The cemetery is on a dairy farm,
the first house on the right side of the road. Ask for permission you can walk or

BRIGHTON: East of Hwy 13 at Brighton. Map
BROCK NO. 1: From Brighton, 1 1/2 mile south and 1/16 mile west
off northbound Hwy 13.
BROCK NO. 2: 1 1/2 miles north and 1 mile east of Brighton.
BROWN / BLAIR / COURTNEY: From junctions of Hwys 123 & 215, which
is about 1 mile south of Aldrich, turn west on Hwy 215. After 2
miles take the second gravel road going north and go about 1 mile
to brick building which was Mt. Bethel schoolhouse, going uphill
almost to the building. Turn west going about 1/4 mile to first
gravel lane going north to the Harmon Courtney home, which is about
3/4 mile east of the Dade county line.
BRUSH GROVE-POTTS: From Fair Play, go north on Highway 123 for
1.5 miles to E 412th St, turn right on E 412th St and go .5 mile

BURDETT / CAVIN: near Tin Town.
BURROS / EMBERSON: West side of the bridge above Orleans.
CALLAWAY: S14 T33 R22
CAMPBELL GROVE: Southwest Marion Township Map
CASE: From Half Way, go south on H Highway 6.5 miles. Turn left on E
500th Rd, go 1 mile to S 220th Rd which becomes E 500th Rd, go 2.1
miles and turn right on S 240th Rd and go .5 miles to E 505th Rd.

CHAMBERLAIN: Note: These are the directions I have found, but
although I have looked repeatedly, I have yet to find the cemetery.
From Polk, go north on D Highway 3.5 miles to E 328th Rd, turn left on
E 328th Rd and .4 miles. The cemetery is .11 miles off the left side

CHANDLER: Union Township
CHAPPEL: 1 mile northeast of Graydon Springs.
CHURCH OF THE FIRST BORN: West of Hopewell, northeast part of
the county.
CIVIL WAR: Destroyed cemetery, was 2 miles northeast of Pleasant Hope.
CLARK: S. Benton Township.
CLAYPOOL: 5 miles northwest of Walnut Grove.
COFFMAN-HOWE: 2 miles northeast of Aldrich about 1/4 mile east
of Wollard Cemetery.
CRAIN NO. 1: Relocated to Vaughn Cemetery, was by Mt. Zion.
CRAIN NO. 2: In Bolivar, one grave in city park near swimming pool.
CRESTVIEW MEMORIAL GARDENS: East of Bolivar on Hwy 32, on the north side of the road.
DAVIS NO. 1: Union Township, northwest of Aldrich.
DAVIS NO. 2: 2 miles south of Bolivar
DOTSON/DODSON: One mile south of Eudora
DUNNAWAY: From Bolivar, go east on 32 Highway to D Highway, turn left
and go north on D Highway for .2 miles, turn right on E Division St
for .2 miles, it becomes E 435th Rd and go another .8 miles. It
becomes S 140th Rd, go .3 miles and it then becomes E 430th Rd. Go .9
miles then turn left on S 150th Rd and go .9 miles to E 420th Rd. You
will go .3 miles, then it is .3 miles off the right side of the road

DUNNEGAN: From Dunnegan, go east on E 380th Rd for .4 miles to S 33rd
Rd, turn left on S 33rd Rd go .1 mile and it becomes E 375th Rd.

ELLIOTT: Near Pleasant Hope
EMMONS CEMETERY: From Bolivar, go East on Broadway to Burns Bridge,
turn on AA and go to Springvalley Church corner. (no longer a church),
turn on 390th Rd East and go to three way crossroad, turn back to the
left, and wind around. The first big oak tree to your left of road.
One visible stone leaning against tree. It is Margaret Emmons. There
are supposed to be at least 8 graves there.
ENON CEMETERY: Enon Cemetery is located in Wishart Township,
Section 9, Township 32, Range 23. The cemetery is approximately 8
miles southwest of Bolivar and/or 34 miles northwest of Springfield.
DIRECTIONS: From 13 Hwy at the intersection of U Hwy & Y Hwy, go west
on U Hwy. This intersection is 2 miles south of Bolivar. Go west on U
Hwy four miles to UU Hwy. Turn west (right) on UU Hwy and go 1.2 miles
to South Farm Road 103. Turn south (left) on Farm Road 103 and go 0.5
miles to East Farm Road 506. Turn west (right) on Farm Road 506 and go
0.4 miles. This road ends at the Enon Church and Enon Cemetery.

EUDORA: East side of Eudora, south of Hwy K. Map
EVANS: Lost cemetery.
FLEMINGTON: From Humansville, follow Highway 123 to Highway V, go east
on V for 2.2 miles, then left on Lipe Rd/S 55th Rd and go .7 miles.
Turn right on E 315th Rd and go .9 miles to the cemetery.

FOUTS / ANKROM: See Ankrom
GLOVER: From Pleasant Hope, go south on H Highway/Main St. for .5
miles to Highway 215 and turn left. Go 4.4 miles then turn left on S
244th Rd, go .2 miles and the cemetery will be .28 miles off the right

GOFF: From Bolivar, go east on 32 Highway for 4 miles, turn left on S
160th Rd and go 1.1 miles. Turn left on E 430th Rd and go .4 miles,
turn right on S 155th Rd and go .8 miles until it becomes S 422nd Rd,
go .2 miles and turn left on S 160th Rd for .2 miles and then right
on E 420th Rd for .6 miles to the cemetery. Map Mapquest Map
GORDEN CEMETERY: Located in South Benton Twp in the midst of
pastures and Sassafras trees. The Gorden family still owns it.
Advisable to call Louis Gorden or Ben Gorden to get onto the property.
To get there, go West from Halfway on Highway 32 for 0.3 miles to
Highway H, go 2.5 miles to a gravel road to the East and the road
turns South. Take this gravel road 2.5 miles to the house. The
Cemetery is about 1/2 mile North and slightly East of the old home. It
is at the edge of a field with many Sassafras trees. At the edge of
this Cemetery, you can hardly tell the main road between Springfield
and Sedalia used to go right by the park and Cemetery located here.

GRAVEYARD HILL: 5 miles northwest of Pleasant Hope. Map
GREENWOOD: In Bolivar, go south on S Dunnegan Ave from Highway 32. It
ends at the cemetery. Map Mapquest Map
GROVE: 3 miles northeast of Half Way.
HADLOCK: Southwest Marion Township.
HARPER: THE HARPER CEMETERY IS LOCATED IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 32,
RANGE 24, AT THE DADE COUNTY LINE ON HIGHWAY 00. IT MAY BE LOCATED BY
GOING WEST FROM EUDORA, MO. ON W HIGHWAY, THEN TURNING RIGHT ON
HIGHWAY 00. IT IS ABOUT ONE MILE FROM THERE TO THE HARPER CEMETERY.
HENDERSON: From Morrisville, go west on Highway 215 for 5.2 miles,
then turn right on S 60th Rd and go 2.2 miles. Turn right on Sac
River Rd/S 65th Rd and go .3 miles, the cemetery is .14 miles off the
right side of the road at this point. Map Mapquest Map
HENDRICKSON: Southwest part of Bolivar.
HENSLEY / KENNON / BUCK / SHANNON / LUNCEFORD: From Morrisville, go
north on S Main St for .2 miles, then turn left on S 111th Rd for 1.3
miles. It will become U Highway at this point, go 2.8 miles and the
cemetery will be .62 miles off the left side of the road. Map

HEYDON / WILLIAMS / DEVIN: 4 3/4 miles northwest of Bolivar.
HICKORY GROVE CEMETERY: Hickory Grove Cemetery is located in East
Looney Township, Section 7, Township 31, Range 22. The cemetery is
approximately 4 miles south of Brighton and/or 15 miles northwest of
Springfield. DIRECTIONS: From 13 Hiway, the southbound lanes, go
west on BB Hiway 1.5 miles to Farm Road 115. Turn north (right) on
Farm Road 115. You will go 2.5 miles on this road. As the road winds
around, the Farm Road numbers change several times but you can't
depend on the Farm Road signs being up. At 1.8 miles Farm Road 115
turns into Farm Road 2 and then it turns into Farm Road 130. At 2.4
miles the road makes a "Y" - Farm Road 130 goes to the right and Farm
Road 567 goes to the left. Stay to the right on Farm Road 130. Watch
for the cemetery sign. You will go 0.1 of a mile. Watch for the
cemetery sign. The first road on your right is the lane that goes down
to the Hickory Grove Church and Hickory Grove Cemetery.

HILLBRANT: 3 miles southwest of Fair Play.
HOPEWELL CEMETERY: Located in North Green Township, in Sec. 10,
Twp. 35, Range 21. Northeast of Huckaby, Hwy. 64 west from Dallas Co.
line to Hwy. HH north to just north of E 320 Rd. or from Hickory Co.
line on HH Hwy. to near E 320 Rd. Map
HOPKINS-CAVE SPRING: From Fair Play, go west on 32 Highway to
S Walnut St., turn right and go .4 miles. Turn left on North St
and go .2 miles until it becomes E 425th Rd and go 1.6 miles to

HUBBARD: From Fair Play, go south on Highway 123 for 6.8 miles. The
cemetery will be .22 miles off the right side of the road. Map

HUMANSVILLE: South on Business Highway 13 from Humansville.

JACKSON: 2 1/4 miles southeast of Half Way.
JOHNSON: 2 miles north of Morrisville.
JUMP: 2 miles northeast of Polk.
KARLIN: From Bolivar, go south on 13 Hwy to U Hwy, go right (west) on U Hwy to the cemetery, it is on the right (north) side of the road.

KEELING: 5 miles southeast of Bolivar.
KELLEY: 2 1/2 miles southeast of Rondo.
KELLY / FRANCKA: 3 1/2 miles southwest of Huron.
KING NO. 1: From Morrisville, go west on Highway 215 for 6.1 miles,
then stay straight to go onto Highway W. Go 4 miles, and the cemetery

KING NO. 2: S31 T31 R24
LEMMON: From Morrisville, go west on Highway 215 for 5.2 miles then
turn left on S 60th Rd. Go 3 miles, then turn left to stay on S 60th
Rd for another .8 mile. Turn left onto E 566th Rd and go .4 miles,
then turn left on S 65th Rd for .2 miles. The cemetery will be .14

LINDLEY CREEK CEMETERY: Located about 2 3/4 miles Northeast of
Goodson, MO on Highway P, in South Greene Twp. Behind the church.

MARTIN: N. Green Township, in northeast corner of county.
MAYFIELD: 2 1/2 miles east of Pleasant Hope.
McDANIEL: From Fair Play, go south on Highway 123 for 7.8 miles, turn
right on Highway 215 and go 2.5 miles. Turn left on S 11th Rd and
go .5 miles, then take a sharp left onto E 503rd Rd and go .1 mile to

McKINNEY: 1 mile east of Burns.
McMASTERS: 1 mile northeast of Walnut Grove, one mile east of Hwy 123 on Greene county line and 1/4 mile north. AKA Buckley.
MEYER: 2 1/2 miles west of Pleasant Hope.
MISSION: 3 1/2 miles southeast of Goodson.
MITCHELL CAMPGROUNDS: 2 3/4 miles northeast of Wishart. Map
MOORE: 2 1/2 miles west of Huron. Map
MORGAN: From Bolivar, go north on 83 Highway about 3 miles. Stay
straight to go onto S 115th Rd, and go 2 miles. Turn right onto S
117th Rd, go 1.3 miles and turn right onto S 120th Rd for 1.2 miles.
The cemetery is .24 miles off the left side of the road at this point.

MORRISVILLE CEMETERY: Morrisville Cemetery located in West Looney
Township, Section 23, Township 32, Range 23. The cemetery is located
about 0.4 miles north of Morrisville. DIRECTIONS: From the Post
Office in Morrisville, go north Farm Road S. 111, 0.2 miles to Farm
Road E. 527. Go right on Farm Road 527 and the cemetery is on your
right. Map
MOUND VIEW: 2 1/2 miles northwest of Polk.
MT. GILEAD: Go south on Business Rt.13 to so. end of Bolivar. Turn
left on Mt. Gilead Road (it T's into 13 across from the Wal-mart
store) then go to the second road that T's into Mt. Gilead road (it is
paved) and turn right. Go south a half mile or so and you'll find the
Cemetery next to the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church on the right.

MT. OLIVE: From Bolivar, go north on D Highway to CR 410, then right
on 410 until it turns into CR 140. Follow 140 less than a mile, the
cemetery is on the right down a lane. There are large gate posts with
the name on them, you can’t miss it. Map Mapquest Map
MT. VIEW / POLK: On D Highway, in Polk beside the church. Map
MT. ZION: Relocated for Stockton Lake, moved to Vaughn Cemetery.
MT. ZOAR: 2 miles southwest of Goodson.
NEW BETHEL: 3 miles south and 3/4 mile west of Half Way. Map
NEW LIFE: From Pleasant Hope, go north on H Highway 1.1 miles, turn
right on E 530th Rd and go 2.4 miles. The cemetery is .19 miles off
the right side of the road at this point. Map

OAK GROVE: 3 miles northwest of Walnut Grove next to Cumberland
Presbyterian Church.
OAKVILLE: 2 1/4 miles southwest of Morrisville. Map
OLD UNION: West Looney Township.
OWENS: 3/4 mile southwest of Van.
PAYNE CEMETERY: Located in McKinley Twp, one mile North of Polk, MO
on Highway D, and just over one half mile west on a gravel road.

PICKEL / MEADE: From Fair Play, go east on Highway 32 for 1.8 miles,
turn left on S 50th Rd and go .8 miles, turn right on S 52nd Rd for .7
miles, then right onto BB Highway for 1.5 miles to the cemetery.

RAGSDALE: From Half Way, go east on 32 Highway .8 miles, turn left on
S 222nd Rd and go 1.9 miles, then turn left onto S 225th Rd and go .3

REED: From Half Way, go south on H Highway .9 miles and turn left on E

RICHARDSON NO. 1: From 32 Highway in Bolivar, go left on N Albany Ave
for 1.2 miles, it becomes S 122nd Rd and you will go an additional 1.9
miles. Turn right on E 407th Rd and go .4 miles, it is .13 miles off

RICHARDSON / GALLIVAN / ELLIOTT: From Humansville, go east on Highway
123 to Highway V, take V and go 2.2 miles to turn left on Lipe Rd/S
55th Rd and go .7 miles. Turn left onto E 315th Rd and go .2 miles,
the cemetery is .33 miles off the right side of the road at this point.

miles. Turn left on Shady Grove Rd/S 20th Rd for 1.1 miles, then turn
left on E 470th Rd, the cemetery is right there. Map

turn right onto S 30th Rd, go .5 miles to the cemetery. Map

miles, turn left on S 80th Rd for 1.9 miles, then turn left onto E

SUTHERLAND: 2 1/2 miles northwest of Aldrich and east of road going south of Hwy V.
TAYLOR-MILLIKEN: 6 1/2 miles southwest of Bolivar.
TERRELL: 3 miles south of Half Way, 1/8 mile west.
TILLER: From Pleasant Hope, go south on H Highway .5 miles, turn left
onto Highway 215 and go .8 miles, then turn right onto AB Highway and

TINKER: From Humansville, go west on N Highway 1.4 miles, turn left on
M Highway and go 3 miles. The cemetery is .27 miles off the right

TRIMBLE: Hwy. 32 West from Fair Play to 26th Rd. south to hwy. VV,
west & around the corner, heading back north, the cemetery is located
in a field to the right, almost at the corner of S. 20th Rd. and E.

TURKEY CREEK CEMETERY: Turkey Creek Cemetery is located in Jackson
Twp., S10, T31, R24 Hwy 123, 1.5 mi N of the town of Walnut Grove,
west side of road, behind Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Map
UNION GROVE NO. 1: From Bolivar, go west on 32 Highway to 13 Highway,
go north on 13 Highway for 3.2 miles, turn right on E 412th Rd and
go .1 miles to turn left on S 85th Rd for .4 miles. The cemetery
is .13 miles off the right side of the road at this point. Map

right onto S 60th Rd and go 3 miles, turn right on E 465th Rd and
go .2 miles, turn left on Old Cemetery Rd/S 57th Rd and go .2 miles to
