Photographed and transcribed by Jane Owens and Johnna Quick 12 August, 2004
We drove to Baldwin City, Kansas on the off chance that I might locate
my GGGGrandfather Arcene Jardon's grave there. Luck was on our side.
I not only located him but his parents as well, along with his
brother. This cemetery was so amazing, so I am also including pictures
of some of the beautiful monuments. The complete transcription is
below the photos.

She is not buried in Mt. Calvary. She is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery

there are several empty plots beside him. I believe he planned on his
family being buried beside him. So I decided to go ahead and reunite
Arcene and Harriett even if it is only on a website.
