JOHNSON SANDERS CEMETERY
Hickory County, Missouri From Ginger Donohue: Heres some more info for your cemetery records site: east of the Liberty Cemetery, about 50 yards west of 254 Highway in Randy Darby's pasture, under some Elm trees, are some tombstones. Think this property, many years ago belonged to a James Giles Johnson, his first wife's tombstone is located there along with her parents and a sister. The information on the stones is: Amy J. wife of J.G. Johnson, born Dec. 26 1829, died Oct 26 1861 (she was a Sanders, died eight days after giving birth to twin boys, they both lived) The other stone is inscribed on three sides: Thomas Sanders, born Jan 26 1808, died June 26, 1872. Sarah Sanders, born Sept 22 1807, died May 10 1886 (her maiden name was Darke) and Missouri Sanders, born Feb 11 1856, died July 28 1890. Thomas and Sarah Sanders are my great great grandparents. Randy Darby's and my great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin McKinley, bought this property about 1910.
