AT Donovan, about 22 years old, and his sister Ruthie Donovan, about 12, went to the Cooper home. They took off their shoes and waded the river 2 times to get there. Mr. Donovan and 3 men carried the casket from the house to the cemetery, a distance of 3/4 mile. There were about a dozen people there.
