1867 in Ray County, Missouri, and died August 28, 1927 in Excelsior
Springs, Missouri. She married CHARLES LEE SHEPHERD March 06, 1885,
son of WILLIAM SHEPHERD and MARY YATES. He was born January 11, 1868
in Andrew County, Missouri, and died March 20, 1907 in Ray County,
Missouri.

Mrs. Camden’s Funeral
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Martha Camden were held at
Union church near Orrick, attended by a large crowd of friends and
relatives of the deceased Sunday afternoon at her home on Prospect
street.
Mrs. Martha Sarah Camden was born Nov. 30, 1867. Departed,
Aug. 28, 1927, aged 59 years, 8 months and 28 days. She was a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Minnick. She was married three
times, first to Chas. Lee Shepard, second to Wm. Lyod, third to
S. C. Camden. To the first union there were 4 children born, 2
boys and 2 girls. One boy departed this life at childhood,
leaving three to survive, who are Dewey Shepard of Washington,
D. C., Mrs. Harvey Carter of East Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Fred
Woods of Orrick. She had two brothers and one sister, Mrs. J. S.
Camden, Missouri City, Willis Minnick, Orrick and Jim Minnick of
Warrensburg. Also a host of nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
She united with the Christian church in her childhood days.
